Tomorrow they will get down to the business of discussing innovations in areas of solar energy, wind power, hydro, geothermal, biomass, nuclear, hydrogen, electric grid, materials availability, nanocomposites/nanomaterials and battery and energy storage, but tonight the participants in the Materials Conference in Alternative and Renewable Energy had time to unwind, meet old acquaintances, make new friends, discuss business and funding, etc.

Over 200 are expected to be on hand Monday when the MCARE is kicked off with the a day of plenary presentations plus several networking events.
