With the help of the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research program, Ceralink is developing ultra-high-temperature ceramics—with microwaves. Using microwave assist technology furnaces, Ceralink can produce ceramics faster and cheaper by bypassing the standard high pressure needed to make ultra-high-temperature ceramics. To get the full scoop, watch the three-minute video above.
