Your path to being cited begins with writing excellent titles and abstracts that are interesting and informative to readers while optimizing keywords and other items for search engines. In our previous publishing seminars and workshops, we provided guidelines. Now it's your turn to try your hand at evaluating and improving these important components of scholarly communications.
Led by editors of the ACerS journals and members of YPN, participants will examine titles and abstracts from articles published in the International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology. You will have an example that follows the guidelines and at least one that does not. Working by yourself or in small groups, you will make and present suggestions for improvement. You are welcome to bring your own recent abstract (e.g. for your ICACC presentation) as well.
Box lunches will be provided to participants who register for the workshop by January 24, courtesy of our publishing partner Wiley. We may have extras, but why take a chance? Register today!
