- Typeface: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, justified.
- Paragraphs: No blank line between paragraphs; indent first line 18 pt (¼”)
- First Page Layout
- Author affiliation(s) go in a footnote at the bottom of page 1, 10 pt Times New Roman, under a rule line
- Abstract/summary begins 3.25″ from the top (leaves room for title/author block)
- No figures, tables, or images on page 1
- Headings

Never leave a heading alone at the bottom of a page.
