International Day of Ceramics

The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) is proud to announce its participation in the first-ever International Day of Ceramics, a global initiative established by the Japan Fine Ceramics Association, the International Ceramic Federation, and other academic and industry organizations to celebrate and promote the vital role ceramics play in our modern world.
The initiative will launch with special announcements on March 12, 2025, with the first official celebration to be held in 2026. The International Day of Ceramics will be observed annually on or around March 12.
Get Involved and Help Celebrate
Everyone is invited to take part in the International Day of Ceramics. Whether you are an individual, a student, or part of an organization, there are many fun ways to join in.

Share the celebration on social media
Help spread the word by using our ready-to-share social media graphics. Post about your work, your favorite ceramic application, or what ceramics mean to you, and join the conversation with #ceramicsday.

Show your support by adding the official logo to your website, emails, newsletters, event flyers, or other promotional materials.
