
The Serbia Chapter of The American Ceramic Society serves ACerS members in Serbia, and is headquartered in Belgrade. The Serbia Chapter was formed to promote the arts and sciences connected with ceramics and glass science and engineering. Events such as workshops, industrial showcases, seminars, and networking events are planned to enhance and facilitate the interaction, technical discussions and potential collaborations between ACerS members in Serbia. Like other international chapters, the mission of the Serbia Chapter of ACerS is to collaborate whenever possible with other organizations in the region and throughout the world to better serve the ceramic materials community.

Longtime ACerS member and Serbia Chapter Chair Dr. Vojislav Mitic passes away
ACerS has learned of the passing of Dr. Vojislav Mitic in September 2021. We send our sincere condolences to his family and colleagues. We appreciate his membership and support of the Serbia Chapter.

The ACerS Serbia Chapter and the Serbian Ceramic Society hosted the ACA IX Conference, “New frontiers in multifunctional material science and processing”, September 20-22, 2021.
Serbia Chapter Meets
The Serbia Chapter of The American Ceramic Society met in February to discuss plans for the upcoming Advanced Ceramics and Applications VIII: New Frontiers in Multifunctional Materials Science and Processing, scheduled for September 23-25, 2019, in Belgrade.
