Learn how to communicate your scientific research with the ACerS Bulletin team (and enjoy brunch!)

This interactive workshop will show materials scientists how to communicate their research to a non-specialist audience by focusing on the problem/solution aspect of their research rather than specific methods or materials. The workshop will explain why public and funder-facing communication matters, followed by a breakdown of real examples.

The interactive activity, paired with networking and brunch, will allow participants to create a three-sentence pitch card that they can apply to their poster presentation at MS&T, future grant proposals, or their next public-facing research article.
