Nearly 300 scientists and engineers from the United States and abroad were in attendance at this year’s Electronic Materials and Applications 2014. EMA 2014 focused on the basic science, engineering and applications of electroceramic materials for electronic, magnetic, dielectric and optical components, devices and systems. This year’s plenary speakers were: James Bray, GE Global Research; Jürgen Rödel, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany; and Joseph V. Mantese, United Technologies Research Center.
