Amanda Engen

Amanda Engen is the director of communications and workforce development for The American Ceramic Society, where she oversees educational short courses and the ACerS Bulletin membership magazine. She started at ACerS as program manager for the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation, helping create programs that expand STEM education. Before joining ACerS, she taught communications and writing in higher education. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication and is committed to making technical fields more accessible through education and outreach.
