David Kellerman (1948-2009)

David William Kellerman, 61 of Washington, NH died April 27, 2009 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, NH.

Kellerman was born in Schenectady, NY, Lived in Burnt Hills, NY, Littleton, Ma, Venice, Fl, before moving to Washington, NH, 5 Years ago. Son of the late William Frederick Kellerman, & Irene (Dennison) Kellerman Maxwell. Graduate of Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School, in Burnt Hills NY, Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, and received is masters in materials Engineering Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Ma.

Kellerman worked at Digital Equipment Corporation, and owned and operated the Material Solutions Consulting LLC for 18 years. He also was partner in Dense Power Associates for over one year. He invented, developed and was issued five patents for the a formulation and process for low dielectric constant thick film ceramic material for electronic
substrates. Digital Equipments has licensed Material Solutions to practice technology contained in the composite integrated circuit package (Integral Heatsink) patent in which he is named inventor. He has also held positions as technical supervisor for a Thick Film Hybrid engineering group and an Advanced Ceramic Package development group.

Kellerman was a member of National Wildlife society, Trout Unlimited. He was a member of the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society Technical subcommittee co-chair. He also was a corporate and emeritus member of The American Ceramic Society and was an ACerS New England Region corporate sponsor.

Kellerman was an optimist who always wore a smile and had an infectious laugh. He cherished his time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors especially for the natural surroundings, the joy in fishing, gardening and long walks with his pet schnauzers, Fritz and Kaiser. He was a devoted husband and father who always put their needs above his. As a new resident of Washington, NH he was especially enamored living by the beauty of the Ashuelot River that flows by his family house.

He is survived by his wife of 39 ½ years Charline (Epley) Kellerman, of Washington, NH, 2 Sons, Brett David Kellerman, of Windsor, NH, Robert William Wan Kellerman, of Burlington, Ma, 1 Brother, James Paul Kellerman, & Suzanne Francis, of Belmont Calif, 1 Step Sister, Linda & Dale Simmons, of Lake Land Fla, and Father in law Nomer Maxwell, of Batavia, NY.
