Outgoing Executive Director

Mark Mecklenborg was the executive director of The American Ceramic Society from 2019–2026, where he worked with ACerS Board to set overall strategy and policy. In addition, he managed the staff, operations, and finances of ACerS and its Ceramic Arts Network and Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation. He started working for ACerS in 1995 as publications director and served as meetings, membership, and publications director from 2004–2018. He earned a BS in English education from Miami University and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
