ACerS President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA) is kicking off the #MaterialsLife Challenge in April 2021. The aim is to celebrate the diverse experiences of life as a student, scientist, engineer, researcher, or all of the above.
Each month, beginning in April, the PCSA will post a challenge prompt on their Instagram page. Follow @acerspcsa on Instagram to see the monthly prompts. To enter, create and post a short video or reel responding to the month’s specific prompt using the hashtag #MaterialsLife and tagging @acerspcsa before the last day of each month.
The person whose video receives the most “likes” each month will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. Additionally, points will be assigned to the top 3 videos every month (3 points for 1st place, 2 points for 2nd place, and 1 point for 3rd place). The person with the most points at the end of the challenge will receive the grand prize of a free student registration to MS&T21 in October.
The challenge will run from April to September. Anyone may enter but only students are eligible to win the grand prize.
By posting a video with the tag #MaterialsLife, you are giving consent to ACerS to utilize your video for educational purposes.
