The Southwest India Chapter of The American Ceramic Society serves ACerS members throughout Southwest India for the purpose of promoting the arts and sciences connected with ceramics and glass science and engineering. Events such as workshops, industrial showcases, and seminars are planned to enhance and facilitate the interaction, technical discussions, and potential collaborations between ACerS members in Southwest India. These will focus on the development of early career researchers to present their work to our members, provide publicity for job opportunities, and the establishment of networking collaborations.
The Southwest India Chapter is headquartered in Bangalore, India.

Southwest India Chapter to hold Inaugural Event
As you are already aware, a new Southwest India Chapter of ACerS has been formed for better networking of professionals in these regions.
We are planning inauguration of this new chapter on September 22, 2023, in Bangalore, India.
It is also proposed to host a Research to Business (R2B) Meet on Ceramics & Advanced Materials - Innovative & Emerging Materials on September 22, 2023, in Bangalore, India.
