WESTERVILLE, OH — The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) will elevate 12 members to Fellow Status this year. The Fellow designation recognizes ACerS members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the ceramic arts or sciences, broad and productive scholarship in ceramic science and technology, conspicuous achievement in ceramic industry, or by outstanding service to the Society.
“The 2025 class of Fellows of the American Ceramic Society comprises a distinguished group of 12 international volunteers and leaders in science and technology. Their exceptional contributions have advanced ceramic science in university and industry while strengthening the mission of our Society. It is a true honor for me to congratulate this year’s Fellows for their remarkable achievements and dedication,” says Monica Ferraris, ACerS president.
The awards will be presented at the Society’s Annual Honor and Awards banquet, Sept. 29, 2025, during ACerS Annual Meeting at the Materials Science and Technology Conference, September 28–October 1 in Columbus, Ohio.
