The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, at its international conference in Oxford Belfry, U.K., just gave Bob Campbell, senior publisher at Wiley-Blackwell, its annual award for Contribution to Scholarly Publishing. In addition, the ALPSP’s prize for Best New Journal went to another Wiley-Blackwell publiciation.
This announcement provides a convenient excuse to publicize that ACerS and the publishing company just release a joint Call for Authors to publish on trends and innovations in the ceramics industry. This is a great opportunity with a solid publishing company that gets recognized with high honors.
ACerS’ technical journals are published with Wiley-Blackwell, including the new International Journal of Applied Glass Science that will be launched in 2010.
