Balai Besar Ceramics is a technical implementation unit under the Industrial Research and Development Agency, Ministry of Industry. We carry out research studies, development and deepening of ceramic and nano material technology on an ongoing basis to support the development of the ceramic industry.

We provide professional technical services for the ceramics industry which includes: Research into ceramic and nano material technology; industrial technical training; testing the quality of ingredients/products; equipment calibration; material/product standardization; product/system quality certification; consultancy on production techniques and utilization of ceramic products; engineering and engineering of industrial equipment; and other technical services.
