DESCRIPTION
A Guide to Ohio TechCred for Employers: Upskill Your Workforce
Join industry expert Dana Goski as she shares practical insights on leveraging Ohio’s TechCred program to develop your company’s technical skills. This valuable Ohio state initiative reimburses employers up to $2,000 per credential while helping employees earn industry-recognized, technology-focused qualifications, which includes ceramic and glass manufacturing. With funding rounds opening regularly throughout the year, employers can receive up to $30,000 per funding period to upskill their workforce.
Dana, who has successfully sent many staff members through the TechCred process, will provide an overview of the program, introduce ACerS–Orton courses that qualify for reimbursement, and offer application guidance from an employer’s perspective. Learn how to navigate the application process efficiently, maximize your reimbursement potential, and build a stronger, more proficient workforce ready for today’s technology-driven economy.
Bring your questions about Ohio TechCred implementation, eligibility, and best practices for a productive Q&A session with someone who has firsthand experience with the program’s benefits.
This session will be moderated by ACerS Director of Workforce Development Amanda Engen, who can also answer all your questions about upcoming ACerS–Orton courses and customized training options for your organization.
