Welcome to the New England Section! Our Section enjoys a rich history, as we were granted our original Charter by The American Ceramic Society on February 11, 1918! The Section was active from 1918 until World War II, but there are no existing Section records from that period. The Section was reactivated in December 1952.
The Section annually bestows the F.H. Norton Distinguished Ceramist Award to recognize individuals for significant contributions to the field of ceramics and/or service to the New England Section.
