The Pittsburgh Section’s 2026 Annual Golf Outing welcomed 64 attendees — 16 foursomes — to Birdsfoot Golf Club in Freeport, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 21. The event raised funds for the J. Earl Frazier Memorial Scholarship Fund while bringing participants together for competition, prizes and fellowship.

Competition highlights

The Mount Savage/AC Tech team, composed of Ryan Hendrickson, Mark Jacobs, Tim Hillkirk and Jon Knox, won the overall event. The Holland Manufacturing/VCI/Argon & Co. team finished second, and the NUTEC team took third place. Congratulations to all the winners.

Sponsors, prizes, and new traditions

Generous sponsors helped make the outing possible. Chiz Bros. donated tickets to a Pittsburgh Penguins game, and Birdsfoot provided four golf passes. Hole sponsors included Big Ham Games, Bluestone, Chiz Bros., Elkem, Fusion Ceramics Inc., Holland Manufacturing, HWI, Mason Color, NUTEC, RJ Lee Group, Standard Clay Co. and Swindell Dressler International. Thank you to all the sponsors for their support.

This year’s outing also introduced a beer cart. Despite the rain, many participants enjoyed a cold beverage while playing their rounds.

In a fitting conclusion to the prize drawings, the youngest participant, an adolescent, was the final winner and received a board game — a perfect match.

The annual golf outing remains an important fundraiser for the J. Earl Frazier Memorial Scholarship Fund. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped strengthen this valued award.

Quadruple the swings, quadruple the fun for the Plibrico team (L-R Paul Marshall, Brandon Sheldon, Dan Andrews, and Eugene Marcink).
