Professor Chun-Hway Hsueh of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Taiwan University, who also serves as the Treasurer of the ACerS International Taiwan Chapter, was one of 17 newly elected Academicians of the World Academy of Ceramics (WAC) approved by the Council on September 4, 2023. He was officially awarded the Academy Diploma during the Plenary Session of the 14th International Conference on Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications (CMCEE-14) in Budapest, Hungary, held from August 18–22, 2024. Professor Hsueh is also a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), the American Society for Metals (ASM) International, the World Innovation Foundation (WIF), and the Materials Research Society, Taiwan (MRS-T), and an Academician of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials (APAM).
