Three current and former chairs of the ACerS International Taiwan Chapter participated in the International Union of Materials Research Societies–International Conference in Asia, held Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 in Tainan, Taiwan.

Jow-Lay Huang, the first chair of the ACerS International Taiwan Chapter, and Chia-Chen Li, the current chair, were invited to organize and lead ceramic-related symposia. Wei-Hsing Tuan, a former chapter chair, delivered a keynote lecture. All three are professors.

Several other researchers from Taiwan’s ceramics community, including chapter members, were also invited to present recent research. Their participation highlights the chapter’s continued contributions to international scientific exchange and collaboration.
