On the heels of the recent overhaul of the ceramics.org website, ACerS and Wiley have partnered to create a new ACerS publication site hosted by Wiley.

The site https://ceramics.onlinelibrary.wiley.com provides a singular launch point from which to access the ACerS journals, books, Bulletin, and phase equilibrium diagram pages. Aptly named ACerS Publication Central, the site also provides author, reviewer, and librarian resources and special article collections, along with links to ACerS membership, conferences, career center, and Twitter feed.

“Member Login” (circled in red) enables ACerS members to login and access ACerS journal articles without having to switch to ceramics.org

Among the most important upgrades to the new publication site is the “Member Login” button on the right side of the menu bar. This direct link enables ACerS members to login and access ACerS journal articles without having to switch to ceramics.org. The menu bar and login button are constant fixtures throughout the publication site, and appear on journal, book series, and article pages. Members can login whenever they wish using this button.

Members who don’t login prior to looking up an article will be confronted with the “You do not have access…” warning. But don’t worry—members can login directly from the article page!

In addition to the ACerS Publication Central upgrades, the onlinelibrary.wiley.com sites for the four ACerS journals received upgrades as well. The menus were reorganized and simplified to provide information to authors and readers in a much more intuitive fashion. New functions such as Spotlights and Featured articles enable the editors to highlight important developments within the journal community and the Society.

Upgrades to the four ACerS journals sites include reorganized menus and new Spotlights and Featured articles functions.

We invite you to take a tour of the new ACerS Publication Central and associated sites and welcome your feedback.
