Zircoa Inc. has announced something of a sale for its specialty refractory ceramic product. The Ohio company has launched a special “Excess Inventory Program” on its website.
“We have excess inventory, in various quantities, throughout our entire product line,” says a Zircoa spokesperson. “Initially, our Excess Inventory Program makes available products which we consider mainstream, appealing to the broadest group of companies utilizing refractory products. We will consider adding other products as the program matures and is refined.”
The company says it expects this program will makes some of Zircoa’s mainstream products available to more companies and those on tighter budgets.
The company says two of the reasons it has an overabundance of some products is that it failed to adjust for decreases in failure rate during firing and experienced some canceled orders.
Zircoa makes high-temperature items, such as refractory brick, zirconia and alumina crucibles, discs and course grain tubes, and the company has a reputation for providing trusted products for severe industrial and scientific environments. It emphasizes that the sale prices are not for lesser-quality pieces. “Our excess inventory is all first quality. Everything Zircoa offers for sale is manufactured under the same ‘ISO 9001:2008 with Design’ certified standards,” said the spokesperson.
