The Central Ohio Section of The American Ceramic Society encompasses the Ohio counties of Athens, Belmont, Champaign, Clark, Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking, Jackson, Knox, Lawrence, Licking, Logan, Madison, Marion, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pickaway, Richland, Ross, Union, Vinton, and Washington.

Save the date! Central Ohio Section plans glass blowing event for November 4, 2022 

The Central Ohio Section is returning to Glass Axis on November 4, 2022 for a hands-on-demonstration.

Each registered ACerS member will have the opportunity hand blow their own glass ornament. More information including a registration form will be forthcoming.

Central Ohio Section visits Glass Axis

The Central Ohio Section kicked off the International Year of Glass with a tour of Glass Axis on Friday, January 14, 2022.  Section members toured the facility and observed a demonstration from glass artist, Madi Cano- who made it look easy. The section will return in the fall and section members will attempt to create their own piece of glass art.

Central Ohio Section hosted networking and planning event on November 17

Members of the Central Ohio Section gathered to network and make plans for future events on November 17.

A representative from Glass Axis presented details of the upcoming January tour and hands- on demonstration.
