Christine Guéneau is currently a Senior Research Scientist in the Nuclear Energy Division of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in the Université Paris-Saclay (France).
After a PhD in metallurgy, she joined CEA Saclay in 1994 for a Post-Doc Fellowship and obtained a permanent researcher position in 1995.
Dr. Guéneau is actively involved in research on the high temperature behavior of nuclear fuel materials for nuclear reactors with particular emphasis on thermodynamic modelling of nuclear fuels.
She has published 56 journal articles and several book chapters and has received the Best Poster Award at the Calphad Conference in 2008 and the Best Journal of Nuclear Materials Article Award in 2011.
