Dabin Lin is a Professor at the Xi’an Technological University, Shaanxi, China. He received his bachelor’s degree in Automation in 2006 from Weifang University, Shandong, China. After completing his Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics in 2013 at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China, he joined the Xi’an Technological University, as a lecture and research scientist, developing high-performance relaxor-PT and lead-free ferroelectric crystals and thin films for acoustic device. From 2010 to 2011, 2016 to 2017, and 2018 to 2019, he joined Prof. Thomas R. Shrout’s group as a visiting scholar and adjunct research assistant at Material Research Institute at Penn State University, PA, USA. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, including Nature Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Scripta Materialia, and Journal of the American Ceramic Society, etc. His scientific interest lies in process of rare earth element doped relaxor-PT ferroelectric ceramics, Bridgeman method of piezoelectric crystals growth, domain wall engineering of ferroelectric material on purpose of high piezoelectric response, and design of the acoustic device.
