oyama_photoGosuke Oyama received his Bachelor, and Master of Engineering (Department of Chemical System Engineering, 2011, and 2013, respectively) from The University of Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan). He obtained his Ph.D. (Department of Chemical System Engineering, 2016) under the supervision of Professor Atsuo Yamada from The University of Tokyo.

Dr. Oyama has published 10 peer-reviewed scientific papers with coauthors, and holds two patents. His primary research area lies in materials exploration and reaction mechanism analyses of iron-based cathode materials for lithium, sodium, and magnesium batteries. He received the paper award from the Electrochemical Society of Japan in 2015. He currently works as a researcher at Asahi KASEI (Tokyo, Japan), and his current interests include inorganic materials for catalysts and their chemical reaction processes.
