Kai Xu, research associate at Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in Ningbo City, China. He obtained his Bachelor and Doctorate Degree at Central South University, China in 2012 and 2018, respectively. Kai Xu has been working on the research of phase diagram, phase transformation, and materials design. He has published ~20 papers in Acta Materialia, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, CALPHAD, etc.
