Scott Barnhouse

Scott Barnhouse is the Director of ALTEO NA LLC, the American subsidiary of ALTEO Holdings, a French-based, global producer of Aluminas.  He has dedicated over 25 years to the Alumina industry, beginning with Alcan where he managed three business units for North American Specialty Aluminas — Calcined Aluminas, and Activated Aluminas, and Specialty Alumina Trihydrates.  Since the creation of ALTEO in 2012, he has managed their North American entity.  Prior to entering the Alumina industry, he worked in the Electrical Porcelain and Zinc Oxide Varistor industries.  Scott received his B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from The Ohio State University and his MBA from The University of Akron.  He is a native of East Liverpool, Ohio–the onetime “Pottery Center of the World.”
