WESTERVILLE, OH – The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) announced today that it is launching of a major new, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to glass research: The International Journal of Applied Glass Science (IJAGS).
The election of ACerS Board of Directors and President-Elect, along with division and class officers, will take place June 25 through July 25, 2009. The nine directors of the board are elected to staggered three-year terms. Six candidates are running for the three open board seats.
The Engineering Ceramics Division nominating committee is asking division members for names of candidates for division secretary. This nomination will be presented for approval at the ECD annual business meeting at MS&T’09 in October.Read More
