Did you know that you can nominate yourself for awards? Often, people are not aware that self-nomination is acceptable in many circumstances. It is also true that people are often too busy to consider who to nominate for awards.

This webinar is an extended version of a recent webinar conducted for the ACerS President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA) delegates. Many of these tips can also be applied to fellowships, workplace awards and society awards.

Dr. Victoria Blair serves as the mentor-at-large for the ACerS President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA) and is a materials engineer at CCDC Army Research Laboratory. Many of the stories included in this webinar are from her own experiences as a young professional and student.
