The ACerS Electronic Materials and Applications (EMA) Organizing Committee is planning for the 2021 EMA meeting, to be held January 19-22 in Orlando, Florida. This will be the 12th annual EMA meeting, which is organized by the Electronics and Basic Science Divisions.

We would appreciate your help to make it the best meeting yet. To that end, we are issuing a call for symposia for new programming ideas. If you would like to organize a symposium, help with a symposium, or if you simply have a topic idea, please send us your feedback by filling out the form below. Proposals received by 2 March 2020 will receive priority.

Both division-specific and co-organized symposia are strongly encouraged. Topics in basic science, and those that bridge the gaps from materials development to applications, are of particular interest with an emphasis on but not limited to computational materials science. We also encourage you to consider diversity and inclusion while building your teams. The meeting promotes the development of students and young professionals, and provides award competitions and complimentary registrations for select attendees.
