All engineers are invited to accept the “Obligation of the Engineer” by joining the Order of the Engineer in a special ceremony in Columbus, Ohio during the MS&T 2015 meeting.

The American Ceramic Society’s National Institute of Ceramic Engineers (ACerS/NICE) is proud to be a part of the Order of the Engineer, an organization which exists “to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.”

Who is eligible: Graduating Seniors in Engineering, Practicing Engineers, Professors Teaching Engineering in Accredited Programs

When: Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5:30-6:30 PM

Where: Columbus Convention Center

Deadline for application: August 15, 2015

To be a part of the ceremony, fill out the application form and mail it along with a check for $25 to The American Ceramic Society. Be sure to provide your ring size (pinky finger of your working hand). You have to have graduated from an accredited program to be initiated into the Order of the Engineer, so please fill that out on the form.
