We have a confession to make: We love glass.

The glass gurus over at Corning Inc. love glass, too. We find ourselves writing about their innovations on Ceramic Tech Today regularly. In fact, the company had a strong showing amidst our top 10 posts from 2014.

To help tell the world about all their innovation, Corning recently recruited television’s Mythbusters hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman to dub this era as “The Glass Age”—which, in all respects, is probably accurate considering glass’s uses in the world today.

Watch Corning’s nine-minute video below to hear the full scoop from Savage and Hyneman.

And if you love glass, too, you’re invited to submit your abstract for the 76th Conference on Glass Problems, which will take Columbus, Ohio, by storm November 2–5, 2015. The deadline for abstract submissions is January 26 (next week!).
