Presley Philipp

My name is Presley Philipp and I am a senior at Iowa State University studying Materials Science and Engineering with an emphasis in ceramic and polymeric materials. I have been working as an undergraduate research assistant in the Glass and Energy Materials Group under Dr. Steve Martin for a little over a year. With the help of my mentor Victor Torres III, we have been working on the compositional development and characterization of fast-ion conducting glassy solid-state electrolytes for use in all-solid-state batteries. Outside of school, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee.
