In-Person Speakers
The duration of talks are noted below. Speakers should allow a few minutes of this time for live Q&A from the audience.
Invited talk – 30 minutes
Contributed talk – 20 minutes
On the day of your talk, we ask you to arrive at the session room 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the session to check-in with the session chair and to load your slides onto the laptop at the podium*. You will present live during your assigned session date and time and answer questions from the in-person audience only, as they are posed.
*All files are deleted from the session laptops at end of day.
Please note: The entire session will be recorded to capture in-person presentations as well as any hybrid/video presentations. Please be aware that this session recording will be posted on the virtual conference site for all paid attendees to view until July 31, 2022. There will be a discussion board attached to your session in Bravura, where all participants (hybrid and in-person) can pose questions. They can also message you directly through the Bravura virtual conference platform.
ACerS does require its speakers to register for meetings to participate. As an in-person speaker, you will register for the meeting at the in-person rate.
