Mark Snyder

Mark Snyder is technical manager, North America, for Almatis Inc. He is currently responsible for new product development and technical support for the ceramics and refractories markets in the Americas, developing new and innovative alumina raw materials, and helping customers solve problems.

Snyder previously held several positions in the R&D and marketing organization at Vesuvius plc, serving most recently as the director of R&D for the Flow Control business unit.  He earned his B.S. in ceramic engineering from Alfred University and a Ph.D. in materials science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
