Michael Pilliod

Mike Pilliod is a glass engineer at Tesla, where he leads new material and manufacturing technology introductions. Mike has been riding quite a glass wave in product companies, starting at Apple from 2007-2013 and now at Tesla since 2013. He lives in Los Angeles, California with his family and loves being a dad.

Abstract: Glass is a fundamental building block for Tesla products. Will present the human factors of optics, thermal, acoustical performance in vehicle glass. Technology development focused on achieving the most comfortable and safe environment at scale.
