Sang-Woo Kim

Dr. Sang-Woo Kim is an SKKU Distinguished Professor (SKKU Fellow) at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Korea. Now he is Director of two research centers of the Triboelectric Energy harvesting Research Center and the National Core Materials Research Center supported by National Research Foundation of Korea. His recent research interest is focused on piezoelectric/triboelectric nanogenerators for powering wearable and body-implatable electronics, self-powered sensors, and 2D materials for energy harvesting. Prof. Kim has published over 300 research papers (H-index of 80) and presented more than 100 Plenary, Keynote, Invited talks in international/domestic conferences. Prof. Kim served as Chairman of the 4^th NGPT (Nanogenerators and Piezotronics) conference at SKKU, Seoul in 2018 and Director of SAMSUNG-SKKU Graphene/2D Research Center. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor of Nano Energy and an Executive Board Member of Advanced Electronic Materials.
