Ride Share Travel Advisory

Rides with Lyft and Uber are in high demand in Las Vegas. Arriving travelers may experience longer-than-expected wait times. Departing passengers should allow plenty of time to get back to the airport.

Terminal 1 Ride Share pickup is located on Level 2 of the parking garage.

  • From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near Door 2 up to Level 2. Cross the pedestrian bridge to the parking garage. The pickup area is to the right.

Terminal 3 Ride Share pickup is located on the Valet Level of the parking garage.

  • From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near Door 52, 54 or 56 up to Level 1. Cross the pedestrian bridge to the parking garage then take the elevator or stairs down to Valet Level.

The fastest way to get from Las Vegas Airport (LAS) to Golden Nugget Las Vegas is to taxi which takes an estimated 11 min in low travel times and costs $35 – $45.

Visa information

If you reside outside the U.S. and wish to attend this meeting, please reference the U.S. Department of State website to determine if a visa is required for your trip to the conference location.

During the Covid pandemic, the process of obtaining a visa to enter the United States may take extra time beyond the typical several months.  First, ensure your passport has 6 months of validity beyond your travel dates and adequate blank pages available for each border crossing you must make for the trip.

To obtain an official invitation from The American Ceramic Society, please send an email to customerservice@ceramics.org with the following information:

  • name of the conference you plan to attend
  • full name as it appears on your passport
  • physical mailing address
  • telephone number
  • date and country of birth
  • passport number
  • passport issue and expiration dates
